LPS-N1 Smart Pressure Switch

Suitable for measuring the pressure of liquids, gases, or steam, it features on-site switch control for interlocking, real-time local display of pressure values, and remote signal transmission to the control system. Pressure setpoints and operating modes can be easily configured via button operation. The switch output is a passive dry-contact signal (SPDT). Common applications include: 1. Start/stop control for air compressors; 2. High- and low-pressure alarms in pipelines, triggering interlocked pump start/stop sequences, etc. The pressure switch directly outputs a switching signal, delivering functionality equivalent to that of a pressure transmitter combined with PLC/control instrumentation for switch-based control. This product boasts the following key features:
●Multi-channel digital output
● Display pressure values directly on-site
● Multiple alarm methods can be set
● Set action values with buttons

Product Description

Product Overview Product overview

The LPS-N1 series electronic pressure switch is a next-generation, intelligent product capable of collecting pressure readings from on-site pipelines and pressure vessels. It features local display, switch-action output, and remote signal transmission, making it convenient for downstream control and data acquisition. The local switch control output uses a dry-contact SPDT, while the analog output supports signals such as 4-20mA current and RS485 communication. Compared to mechanical pressure switches, this model offers exceptional ease in adjusting setpoints. Additionally, it allows users to configure multiple alarm modes, including single-point alarms, upper/lower limit alarms within the specified range, and alarms triggered when the pressure falls outside the defined limits. This versatile product is widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, power generation, sugar production, pharmaceuticals, and other sectors where precise pressure control is essential.

Installation Requirements INSTALLATION

1. The pressure controller can be directly installed onto the component being tested. To facilitate installation and maintenance, it is recommended to add a shut-off valve between the component and the pressure controller. In environments with significant vibration or shock, a flexible hose can be installed at the pressure controller’s connection point to achieve mechanical decoupling.
2. A sealing ring should be installed between the pressure controller connector and the pipe fitting or shut-off valve. For flush-head pressure controllers, the internal thread depth of the pipe fitting or shut-off valve must exceed 25 mm.
3. In general, the pressure controller should be installed vertically, facing upward relative to the horizontal surface. During installation, use a wrench to tighten the controller by turning the hexagonal nut located at the bottom of the pressure controller.
4. When the range is less than 100 kPa, it must be installed vertically.
Note:
1. Do not use sharp objects or hard materials to poke into the pressure port, as this may damage the sensor’s pressure diaphragm. Additionally, since the pressure diaphragm is permanently welded to the housing, the device will become irreparable. Furthermore, intentionally pressing the diaphragm, or allowing particles in the medium to come into contact with it, as well as product quality issues caused by abnormal conditions such as static overloading or dynamic pressure shocks—none of these fall under our company’s warranty coverage. Therefore, users are strongly advised to take extra care in protecting the diaphragm during both installation and operation.
2. For areas prone to frequent lightning strikes, it is recommended to install lightning protection devices along the lines.
