Suitable for applications involving corrosive, viscous, crystallizable, easily solidified media, or those containing suspended solids. The diaphragm is internally filled with inert silicone oil, while the special-material diaphragm directly contacts the process fluid. The silicone oil transmits pressure to the sensor, enabling high- and low-limit alarms by comparing the measured pressure value against preset thresholds. The output signal is a passive dry-contact relay (SPDT). Common applications include: 1. Acidic tail gas pressure alarms; 2. Reactor pressure control systems. The pressure switch directly outputs a dry-contact signal, offering functionality equivalent to that of a pressure transmitter combined with PLC/control instrument switching outputs. The LPS-M2 series diaphragm pressure switches are manufactured by secondarily filling the basic pressure switch with oil through a secondary diaphragm. The wetted parts can be equipped with different diaphragms tailored to the specific properties of the medium, enabling them to handle challenging operating conditions such as corrosive, viscous, easily crystallizing, or particulate-laden media that may cause blockages. Inert oil is used inside the diaphragm to transmit pressure, ensuring that corrosive substances come into contact only with the specially engineered diaphragm material. The deformation of the diaphragm is transmitted via the oil to the sensor, allowing for various alarm or interlock control functions, including high, low, high-high, and low-low alarms. The setpoints are adjustable, requiring no separate power supply, and the contacts feature a large current-carrying capacity, making these switches convenient for field applications. They are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical processing, and metallurgy for differential pressure control applications—and also support adjustable differential switching settings.

Measurement Principle   Principle

The diaphragm-type pressure switch is a mechanical pressure switch that uses the diaphragm's mechanical deformation to control the closing and opening of its contacts. When the pressure of the measured medium changes, the diaphragm undergoes a corresponding displacement. This displacement is then transmitted via a linkage mechanism to a microswitch. Once the displacement reaches a preset value, it actuates the microswitch, causing its contacts to either close or open—thus signaling the pressure level. Additionally, adjustable pressure switches allow users to fine-tune the relationship between the linkage mechanism and the microswitch contact travel, enabling precise pressure control at either a fixed value or within a specific range, thereby achieving the desired operational purpose.

Installation Requirements INSTALLATION

1. Do not operate with power on.
2. Weld the pressure-tapping pipe, and it’s best to install a shut-off valve on the pipe, allowing for easy removal of the valve during maintenance.
3. Install the switch in a location with minimal vibration and temperature fluctuations.
4. Please do not turn the housing-fixed switch directly; instead, use a wrench to loosen the connecting hex below.
