The LT-21 series temperature sensors are basic temperature measurement products. Designed based on the principle that sensing elements generate resistance or millivolt changes in response to temperature variations, these sensors feature high-precision resistance temperature detectors (RTDs) or thermocouples (TCs) encased within stainless steel sheaths, offering excellent corrosion resistance and overload protection. They can be seamlessly integrated with secondary instruments such as digital display meters and recorders, as well as PLC/DCS systems, enabling the construction of diverse temperature measurement setups. Structurally, the sensors come in two main types: assembled and armored. The standard assembled version is widely used due to its stable design, while the armored type can be manufactured thinner, ensuring superior consistency, rapid response, and extended service life. These sensors are extensively employed across various industries—including petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, power generation, sugar production, pharmaceuticals, and more—for precise temperature data collection.

Installation Requirements INSTALLATION

The instrument can be directly mounted inside the sensor junction box using two M4 screws, securely fastening the sensor leads and the transmitter output leads to the terminal blocks. Alternatively, it can be installed near the primary meter. Ensure that the instrument's power supply does not exceed 30 VDC, and also pay close attention to the ambient temperature.
