LPS—N3 Smart Pressure Switch

Economical pressure switches designed for measuring the pressure of liquids, gases, or steam, featuring local control, display, and analog signal remote transmission capabilities. The action value and mode can be easily set via button operation. The switch output is a passive dry contact (SPDT). Common applications include: 1. Start/stop control for air compressors; 2. High- and low-pressure alarms in hydraulic station pipelines, as well as interlocked pump start/stop functions. The pressure switch directly outputs a switching signal, offering functionality comparable to that of a pressure transmitter combined with PLC/control instrumentation for switch-based control output. This product boasts the following key features:
● Multiple-channel digital output
● Display pressure value directly on-site
● Multiple alarm methods can be set
● Set action values with buttons

Product Description

Product Overview Product overview

The LPS-N3 series electronic pressure switch is a next-generation, intelligent product capable of acquiring pressure readings from on-site pipelines and pressure vessels. It features local display, switch-action output, and remote signal transmission, making it convenient for downstream control and data collection. The local switch control output is provided as a dry-contact SPDT, while the analog output supports signals such as 4-20mA current and RS485 communication. Compared to mechanical pressure switches, this model offers exceptional ease in adjusting setpoints. Additionally, it allows users to configure multiple alarm modes, including single-point alarms, alarms triggered within the upper and lower limit ranges, or alarms activated outside these ranges. This versatile product is widely used across various industries—such as petroleum, chemical processing, metallurgy, power generation, sugar production, and pharmaceuticals—where precise pressure control is essential.

Installation Requirements INSTALLATION

1. The pressure controller can be directly installed on the component being tested. To facilitate installation and maintenance, it is recommended to add a shut-off valve between the component and the pressure controller. In cases of vibration or impact,
Larger environments can achieve mechanical decoupling by installing a hose at the pressure controller connector.
2. A sealing ring should be installed between the pressure controller connector and the pipe fitting or shut-off valve. For flush-head pressure controllers, the internal thread depth of the pipe fitting or shut-off valve must exceed 25 mm.
3. In general, the pressure controller should be installed vertically, facing upward relative to the horizontal surface. During installation, use a wrench to tighten the controller by turning the hexagonal nut located at the bottom of the pressure controller.
4. When the range is less than 100 kPa, it must be installed vertically.
Please note: 1. Do not insert sharp objects or hard materials into the pressure port, as this may damage the sensor's pressure diaphragm. Additionally, the pressure diaphragm is permanently welded to the housing, making repair impossible. Improperly pressing the diaphragm, as well as product quality issues caused by abnormal usage—such as media containing particles, static overloading, or dynamic pressure shocks—is not covered under our warranty. Therefore, users are strongly advised to take extra care in protecting the diaphragm during both installation and operation.
2. For areas prone to frequent lightning strikes, it is recommended to install lightning protection devices along the lines.
