1. The thermocouple safety barrier is a safety device used to protect thermocouple measurement systems. Its main function is to prevent damage to equipment or injury to personnel during the thermocouple measurement process due to electrical faults, overloads, or short circuits. By installing a thermocouple safety barrier, it effectively isolates the thermocouple from potential hazards, ensuring the stability and reliability of the measurement system.

2. The working principle of the thermocouple safety barrier is based on electrical isolation and current limiting protection. It introduces an isolation circuit between the thermocouple and the measurement system, amplifying and converting the weak electrical signals generated by the thermocouple while limiting the current to prevent electrical faults from damaging the measurement system. The thermocouple safety barrier also has overload protection and short circuit protection functions, which can timely cut off the circuit in abnormal situations to protect the equipment from damage.

The isolation safety barrier transmits voltage and current signals from hazardous areas, outputting a single or mutually independent dual current/voltage signal to safe areas through isolated transmission. It can also connect to a serial communication network in the safe area through a configured communication interface.
